Obama’s Back to School Program Offers Mothers Financial Aid and Free Scholarships
One of the most recent initiatives of US Government lead by President Barack Obama is the back to school program which offers scholarships to moms so as to encourage them to return to the classrooms. With the dire state of the US economy what is at most required is a change in the existing educational structure to make it more competitive and comprehensive. Where better to start than with moms whether stay at home or working, married or single. There couldn’t have been a better time to back to school than now for we are about to witness a historical change in the US economy. The US Governments ideology of women empowerment is reflected in this new initiative wherein with the change in the economic cycle women can demand better jobs with excellent remuneration and better terms. A better education will only help you move forward in your career and fulfill all your work ambitions.
To summarize as to how the program actually works here are a few highlights:
(1) Broaden the terms of the Federal Pell Grant so as to cover those with low earnings.
(2) To increase the maximum amount of grant given to $5100 from $4050.
(3) The program also covers distance learning and online study and is not restricted only to in classroom programs.
In these trying times comes a ray of hope for all American women to grab this opportunity given to them by the government, make the most of this life changing opportunity by going back to schools, empowering and enlightening themselves and their families, for the tide shall change soon.
